Ode to itunes...

I gotta say, as much as Apple is sucking in my hard earned greenbacks, "I love itunes". There is sooo much music that I had on Cd's that were stolen from my car 6 years ago. I have done nothing but catch up on stuff I had and stuff I liked, but never bought. Not to mention all the Cd's that I still have that were converted to itunes. Always nice to hear the music you enjoy listening to digitally. What next? With the ipod jack on my new truck I can just jam to the tunes that I love to jam to. I am now up to 1525 songs, 2 videos, and 1 movie. I'm sure I'll be at about 2,000 songs by summer. I've found that many people know how much I like to listen to tunes, that they by me itunes gift cards as presents. Not gonna argue there.

So, last night the wifey and I decided to get off our undecided asses and went to go out to my local watering hole "Andy's". We planned on getting a bite to eat and have a couple of beers. Well, as soon as we got there the funniest thing happened..... We both got the anti-social bug and because it was soooo busy there and there was no place to sit, we left. Yep, not even 4 min. after we walked into the joint, we left. I haven't done that at that place since the previous owner "loser boy" had the joint and there was a completely different crowd of people that hung out there. I am very good friends with the current owners of the joint now and would never say anything but good things about Andy's now. Rick and Cara are fantastic. So, anyway, here is the best part of the story. The "ANTISOCIALISTS" (that is Kt and myself) drove straight to frickin' McD's and got a 20 piece chicken nugget and a large fry and went down to Baypoint park, parked the truck, and sat there and talked and ate. Then, for the grand finale, we went for an 11 mile drive out of Red Wing, onto a backroad, (mind you there was no alcohol involved with the backroading) and back to home. We were gone for a total of a about 1 1/2 hours. What an exciting night. Even funnier yet, my buddy Tommy was at Andy's and when we left I told him "We're just gonna go get some food somewhere real quick, we'll be right back." Huh. Guess I was wrong.
So, that was our funfilled, exciting, very eventful, sober night.
Thought you might like that.
I wonder what interesting ideas I can come up for Kt and myself today. We do have the whole day to just do nothing. So far we are totally accomplishing the deed of doing nothing.
I guess I do have my itunes at least.

That sounds like fun! We did, well, we didn't do anything last night. I got caught up on Poker After Dark. Read some blogs and we were in bed. Yiippeee! Next time, we should call each other.

Doing nothing is always gooder when you have music right?
