Vacation...I am maxing and relaxing here in beautiful Cable, WI on Lake Namakagon. Crown and 7 is the way to go. Of course I do have the Coors Light (24 pack) polished off in less than 24 hours. Yeah baby. Played alot of Bean Bags with the fam. Going down to the beach right now to let the niece have some fun in the lake. Will be going golfing tomorrow and fishing is also in the plan.

More to come...everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-60021333743328918302008-07-18T23:05:00.002-05:002008-07-18T23:14:13.060-05:00Post surgery...Yeah, it's been a while since I've posted. I know I said I would post some pics of the Milwaukee vacation too. Well, I will say that within three days of being more active from the norm of laying around and taking it really easy, I went ahead and got back into my regular routine. I played some softball and have worked my regular hours at work. My appetite is back and so is my craving for the "Coors Light". Gotta say "when you push yourself, you can recover alot faster". I kinda pissed the wife off a little by playing softball Monday night when I said I only would if we didn't have enough players there. Then last night I played my normal position in Left Center the whole game instead of doing what I said I would which was work myself into my normal postition by switching out every other inning. Believe me, if she were in my body the entire time from pain to surgery to recovery, she would understand that I have really been feeling the recovery happen very fast within the last 72 hours. I am really like being back to myself and for some reason feel even like I am better than before. I think it is just because I was laid up for a week and a half. Anyway, I am excited to get on with the summer and hope everyone is enjoying their's.

Good night.everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-37237594077125103812008-07-03T11:28:00.002-05:002008-07-03T11:37:08.215-05:00Can you say "Appendectomy"?3 Days of pain prompted 1 Doctor's appointment, which enduced a visit to the ER for 3 Laproscopic incisions and the removal of my Appendix. Had plenty pain meds while I was there. I just can't figure out how in less than 24 hours I had been sent home from the Hospital. Had my appendix removed. I will be out of commission for a few days so I'm sure there will be more time to blog for you all. Everything's fine and I will post soon.

God Bless!!!everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-58595564940832745702008-06-11T10:14:00.003-05:002008-12-10T09:51:10.058-06:00Weekend Destination...Here we go!

It's a weekend road trip to Milwaukee to see the Twins and Brewers play. Friday night is the first of a three game series in Milwaukee at Miller Park. This will be the first time I have been to this stadium. When I was younger we used to always go there and watch the two teams play at County Stadium. I can't wait to go. As you can see in the picture, there will be some tailgating going on before the game. It's been a long time since I have gotten to tailgate. Beer, Brats, Beer, No-Name Steaks, and more Beer are in the forecast for this weekend.

I will some pics and a little more about the trip when I return.

Happy Day!

everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-79042142751961855202008-05-21T10:32:00.001-05:002008-12-10T09:51:10.438-06:00Twins update...

Attendance Record: 6 and 1

12 innings and another win!!!

And this guy hit a 3 run shot???

Wow!!!
everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-20411986235091629992008-05-14T19:22:00.005-05:002008-12-10T09:51:10.874-06:00Introducing the newest addition...

Here it is! The newest addition to the family. The newest toy for Scott and Katie to enjoy!

A brand new 2007 Yamaha Road Star Warrior. 1670cc 102cu. in motor. Love it! Right off the bat I had them put the "double t" handlebars on and some Vance & Hines "Big shots" pipes on it. I have had soooooo many comments on how great the bike looks and sounds. Thanks honey!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for letting me get it. We will have alot of fun between this and the boat.

On a different note, the Twins lost the to the Red Sox 5-3 on Sat. evening with myself in attendance. No more undefeated streak. I am now 5 and 1 in attendance. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

New topic: Scott is getting old. My body is aching quite a bit from the game called Softball. Our first week of it and we had to start off with a double header. WOW!! Can you say SORE???

Hope everyone is well. NO ONE!!! I literally chew people's heads off if they touch anything without me asking or giving permission.

2) Even though I have a nice bathroom upstairs, I choose to shower and get ready downstairs instead. Katie always asks me why. I think it's because I grew up downstairs at my mom and dad's and just prefer it that way. I also do it so I don't wake her up. I am kinda loud and don't realize it unless I'm told. (Nellie and Badge can attest to this one from vacation: Toilet seat)

3) Seat #16 (Twin's games) need I say more?

4) I love the cheese on my pizza to be just about burnt. When I order pizza from a restaurant I will have the pizza sent back to cook longer if I it isn't slightly browned.

5) I have a problem with making sure people have certain items available to eat with dinner when they invite me over. I guess you can call me a picky eater, but, I really eat anything. It's just when I eat a hot dog or burger, dammit "I want onions!"

6) And finally, (this one has been pointed out to me several times by a few of my co-workers)

2 favorite words: "I" and "Me" Ask them.

So that's all for this tagged post.

Over and out!everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-54455628555344984152008-05-05T11:10:00.004-05:002008-12-10T09:51:11.073-06:00"5 and 0 baby, 5 and 0!!!"

Yes sirreee!

My presence at the game has yet caused another victory to happen for my Twinkies. Bonser had a horrific 1st inning that lasted 26min. and he gave up 6 runs. After that, everything went well. We just chipped away at the Tigers as much as we could and had some very timely hits. Punto finally got his first and second RBI's for the season. There were alot of people saying at the beginning of the game "this sucks" including me. But I also looked at Katie and said "it ain't over yet". (I was right)

Well, the Mrs. wasn't overly happy with me by the end of the day. I proceeded to drink the brew all day and even at Softball practice. Constantly saying "5 and 0 baby, 5 and 0!" She was getting very sick of it. Not to mention I guess I was getting loud and annoying. Oh well, I needed to let loose. There's alot less anxiety today. Thanks for putting up with me my love.

I have a question: Is nobody interested in my blog anymore? I haven't seen much for comments and I'm wondering if you just aren't interested in the Horse shoe that is up my ass concerning the Twins games? Should I post more interesting things like rants about work and stupid people, perhaps I could post about cooking?

Please advise. Thank you.
everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-89238917289171095012008-05-03T09:47:00.006-05:002008-12-10T09:51:11.365-06:00Movie Review...IronmanYou won't believe it!
I went to a movie in an actual theater last night. It's been over 3 yrs. since I've attended such a thing.
I believe the last movie I went to was "Shrek 2". I know, sounds a little corny but it's true.
Last night was the first night of the movie "Ironman" and wow, I loved this movie. My only wish was that there would have been just a little more action. I think the movie trailers may have taken the element of surprise out of the movie itself.

I still loved the movie and I understand that this was the introduction to Ironman" himself so there will probably be at least one sequel to the movie.
You just gotta have one. Christ, if they can have an Indiana Jones go for it's 4th story, you should be able to have Ironman go at least one more
My big bitch about this is that our movie theater in town was built only about 4 yrs. ago and I thought it sucked. I paid $16 for the Mrs. and I to go to the show and it would have been better to buy the movie on DVD and watch at my home theater. Maybe we should have went to an IMAX theater instead. The sound quality was horseshit and the picture was not great at all.
I guess I learned my lesson and can validate the reasons for my absence of the movie theaters.
The main thing is that my wife was pumped about the proposal of doing a real "Dinner and a Movie". That was my main purpose for the idea. So Honey, when you read this, it was all for you. (except for it wasn't a chick flick) LOL.
Hopefully there will be an IRONMAN 2 coming soon to a theater or home theater near you.everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-46806463189013597582008-05-01T09:46:00.005-05:002008-12-10T09:51:11.859-06:00We saved you a seat...

Oh yeah!!! Another game attended and another win. That would make me 4-0 so far this year going to the twins games. I gotta say, the Twins are gonna be sending me a ticket for all the home games I can make it to once they find out. The game was great and there was one thing that happened that was rather superstitious. When dad and I first got there we went and got some food and bevy.

So, I no more that sat down, setting my beer way forward on the ground so I could devour my onion loaded dome dog, and the guy to the right of us (season ticket holder) shimmys his way through my dad and I and knocks my beer over. I had one sip out of it. Damn!!! "Shit" is what came from his mouth. He was watching out for my dad's beer and didn't see mine. The nice guy he is he turned around and said "What kind was it?" He brought me a new beer. Good man!

At this point the only thing that is really bothering me is the mess that it left behind.

Well to get to this point, the guy to the left of me (season ticket holder as well) says to me: "You know that could be like a good omen for the Twins" I didn't really agree that a spilled beer was gonna be a good thing, but in the spirit of superstitions I went with the whole idea.

Mauer hit a triple in the first inning, but, there were two outs and Morneau was unable to help his cause.

Kubel was the man. He hit a solid rope of a HR in the 4th inning. A 2-run shot just about reaching the second deck seats and it was just a line shot. Kind of a slow riser. I think he might have hit it about 460ft. at least.

The game was mostly defense with Harris, Gomez, and Young showing great game presence. Harris made a couple of plays that normally would have made it to the outfield.

Gomez did his usual prancing around in centerfield like a deer and made every catch look easy, but the fact of the matter is, they were not routine fly balls he was getting to. (God I love watching this guy play) #22 is going on my jersey this year.

Young made probably the best catch of the game at the leftfield wall preventing at least a double and one run scoring, but, he also was able to double off the runner that was on first and got us out of the 8th inning protecting a 3-1 lead.

9th inning Nathan got to come in and do his thing.

TWINS WIN!!!
everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-36122754616530175622008-04-21T13:10:00.004-05:002008-12-10T09:51:12.219-06:00Yet another day of me being the good luck charm...

So, about 11:10 am yesterday, and my buddy Stumpy gives me a call. He wants to know what Katie and I are doing for the day and he was thinking about hitting up the old Metrodome for a Twins game. Well, Katie had mentioned it already to me about going and doing something and the Twins were one of the ideas she had. I didn't realize there was a game for some stupid reason. So, I got on the phone and got 4 tickets for "Will Call" and called my dad. I Told him to leave a note for my mom that he was at the game and we would grill burgers when we got back to town.
By the way, being the spoiled son I am, my mother went back to the grocery store and got all the makings for her homemade potato salad. Mom's potato salad is the best. Probably one of the few things that I don't even bother to make myself. I'd rather have her make it. It's friggin' delicious and she always makes enough for leftovers.
On to the point.

The game was another fun one. It went 10 innings and was an exciting game defensively.

Gomez wasn't sparkling as far as the bat was concerned but he made up for it ten fold when he made a spectacular diving catch in centerfield and held up the runners on base from scoring. I have decided that #22 Gomez is going on my new Twins jersey. This kid is sensational and will only get better as the year goes on and also the years to come.

Brendan Harris, went 3 for 5. One was a solo HR to right-center. Then he started off the 10th for us with a base hit. Harris is starting to show me signs of an everyday starter. He just needs to polish up his defense a little.

Kubel later got on and set up runners at 1st and 3rd. Kubel has been a solid bat in the lineup and hopefully will continue to be what everyone was looking for in DH/Outfielder.

Then Mr. Justin Morneau came up to bat with runner's at 1st and 3rd and singled to right field knocking the game winning runner "Harris" in.

Once again, I was the good luck charm for the Twins. (At least I like to think that.)

So far I have a 3-0 record for games this year.

GO TWINS!!!

P.S. I will post some pics from the seats soon. Got a few of Delmon Young. We were in the 3rd row down the 3rd base line closer to left field. Hence the good pics of Young to come.
everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-15456787995357908932008-04-05T00:29:00.002-05:002008-04-05T00:38:29.125-05:00Good Luck Charm???Well, tonight there was yet another Twins game to attend. It was another exciting game watching "the kid" Carlos Gomez. On his first at bat he bunted the first pitch and scurried safely to first. Man is he ever fast!!!. Then he stole second base. Mauer hit him in. Gomez also had another stolen base and hit the ball in the left center gap for a double as well. Gotta love "the kid". (I think that is the nickname I will be giving him) I still have a blank game jersey and am thinking of getting #22 Gomez put on there.
Anyway, the Twins won 4-3 and I would like to nominate myself for the "Good Luck Charm" award. I have only seen the Twins lose maybe 5 times in the last 4 years while having these lovely season tickets.
Tomorrow is State bowling tournament day one. Team event. Saturday is Singles and Doubles competition.

Wish me luck!everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-75125291368891737702008-04-01T12:21:00.002-05:002008-04-01T12:29:44.726-05:00TWINS WIN!!!Twins recap:

Gomez looked like an exciting leadoff hitter. His speed will definitely make a lot of catchers look like they have a weak arm. He is so fast that on his first steal of the game LA did a pitchout and he still beat the throw.

Mauer was his usual reliable self.

Cuddyer watched great pitches go by him and swung at junk. (scary)

Morneau looked a little rusty but managed to make some good contact.

Delmon Young looked decent making some good contact as well.

Young and Gomez definitely need some time out in the outfield together for some communication practice.

Hernandez came in and pitched for 7 innings and got the job done.

Neshek looked like he has recovered from his late season setback from last year.

Nathan got to strike out his old teammate Tori Hunter. (Hunter received many standing ovations throughout the game.

Final score: Twins 3 - Angels 2

TWINS WIN!!!

Postgame notes: Parking ramps suck donkey d*ck!!! We got stuck in the parking ramp at the very top for an entire hour. Too many chicken shits afraid to merge into traffic I guess.

The drive home in all the slush and snow was the next part that sucked.

Til the next post...everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-73025916865513506112008-03-31T13:11:00.003-05:002008-03-31T13:17:09.599-05:00Opening Day!!!Today is the opening day for the Twins 2008 Baseball season. I will be attending this game with 9 other guys and have offered to be one of the two sober drivers.
It's friggin' snowing!!!!!!!!!
Good thing we still have the dome. I'm curious to see where the seats will be. Stew (the birthday boy) got the tickets for us so I don't know where they exactly are but they won't be my regular season ticket seats in the 1st row of the 2nd deck.
Anyway, the greatest part about the whole day is the fact that I am leaving work early and took half the day off tomorrow. Yippeee!!!
Can't think of much else to say and I guess I will update the outcome of the day tomorrow and how the whole adventure goes. No drinking for me until I get back from the game so I will be able to remember details.

Til tomorrow or so!everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-16123876901937198472008-03-26T12:51:00.004-05:002008-03-26T12:59:45.632-05:00Go Twins!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!I figure I should let everyone know that the color adjustment for my blog has something to do with the start of the Minnesota Twins Baseball season. Being a season ticket holder may have something to do with it. I am concerned with the way the season will go. We lost some key players and didn't do that great with the new aquisitions. Anyway, I will get to see a glimpse of what could happen on Monday when I attend the season opener. I am looking forward to this not only because it's the 1st home game but also because it's my buddy Stew's b-day and there's about 10 of us going up there. GO TWINS!!!

On another note, it's almost April now and we still have snow on the ground and more in the forecast. SHITTY!

I want to go out on the boat, do some golfing, and have the softball season start. Instead, I may end up brushing the snow off of the cars on the lot yet another time this year. (puke!!)

Lord, hear my prayer. Let the season change. Amen! Come on Rev. Raul, give me some help if you could. Please!

And now for the attitude to change on my end. Happy day!!!everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-71128112197882908392008-03-21T13:00:00.002-05:002008-03-21T13:06:58.897-05:00Not in the mood...Well, with the friggin' snow falling on the 21st of March, I am sooooooooooooooo not in the mood to be at work. This white crap that keeps coming down has pretty much made all of my appointments cancel on me for today. If it keeps up, I won't be a very happy camper for work tomorrow either. Lucky for me, once again, I have the ol' ipod with me at work. Can you just imagine how many web sites I've been looking at today?

On with a different topic...

The refinance on the house is finalized. Kt and I are very happy with the way it turned out. We got a little more money back than we had anticipated. On the down side, we owe more on the house. Oh well, that's the American way. (Buy deep)

Maybe I'll post something more positive next one. (Like the snow is gone and people are not hibernating anymore)

By the way, why don't people from Minnesota know how to drive in this crap?everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-11407195611606282902008-03-14T22:39:00.005-05:002008-03-14T23:07:53.934-05:00Things are lookin' up...Yep, that's right! Things are lookin' up finally. Here's a list of observations I've made in the last few days:

The days are lighter longer.
The air is getting warmer.
People are getting out of the winter funk and not hibernating.
The snow is melting away.
I haven't had to use the remote start on my truck all week.

Oh the list could just go on and on and on. You get the hint.

Tonight we celebrated my grandma's 75th birthday. Wow, I hope I can live to be that old. Or maybe not. I don't know. Anyway, we went to the Fish Fry down at Liberty's Restaurant. Other than the actual food, it sucks going to eat down there. It is sooooo friggin' packed and tight down there. I don't think they've changed out the tables or the seating arrangements down there for a very long time. Probably not in my lifetime so far. Put it this way, I have my cell phone on vibrate mode so it doesn't annoy people with a frickin ringtone, and I thought it was ringing quite frequently, I kept checking it over and over. Nope, it wasn't anyone calling me, Kt and I were rubbing legs constantly at the table. (not like we were groping each other) Tight, tight quarters.

Before you read this part, I want you to know that this is one step that is looking up and it's not meant to be negative, but to just let my feelings be explained.

I found out some very disturbing news the other day. This news was something I was figuring was true for quite some years now. My dad told me that my nephew was taken to a specialist and they said he is mildly autistic. He is operating at a 2 1/2 yr. old level and he's 5. Kt and I have really been talking about this for a while now and have been telling my mom and sister he needed to be taken to a specialist but they would just say "You need to give it more time" "He's a premie" "Blah, Blah!" I'm so f*ckin' sick of hearing that. I'm so very pissed he wasn't getting help like 3 frickin' years ago when I was trying to get them to go for more specialized testing. Please let my mom and sister see the light and listen to Kt and I for once. I think they need help too. Really, they should go get tested on something like how to learn how not to ignore us and be ignorant to it all. I really just want to sit them both down and smack them around a little. Hopefully they will give him the one on one specialized attention he needs and help him grow and learn as much as he can and wants.

Enough for now. Only happy thoughts for the rest of the week.

More food posts to come. Made General Tso's chicken Sunday. It turned out pretty good and I do have some pics.

See y'alleveryone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-65192369821555721852008-02-29T23:09:00.004-06:002008-02-29T23:14:08.735-06:00My Bowling scores...Here's where I start bragging my ass off. I have a totally legitimate reason for this though.

Game #1: 247

Game#2: he's got 9 in a row, here's the first ball in the 10th, oh he pulled it brooklyn side, no 300 for this time around. 277

Game#3: 255

I had a friggin' 779 series. I am still in awe on this one.

G, I hope you can see me post those types of scores next week when you sub.everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-49691271131903254032008-02-24T08:57:00.004-06:002008-02-24T09:50:15.653-06:00Ode to itunes...I gotta say, as much as Apple is sucking in my hard earned greenbacks, "I love itunes". There is sooo much music that I had on Cd's that were stolen from my car 6 years ago. I have done nothing but catch up on stuff I had and stuff I liked, but never bought. Not to mention all the Cd's that I still have that were converted to itunes. Always nice to hear the music you enjoy listening to digitally. What next? With the ipod jack on my new truck I can just jam to the tunes that I love to jam to. I am now up to 1525 songs, 2 videos, and 1 movie. I'm sure I'll be at about 2,000 songs by summer. I've found that many people know how much I like to listen to tunes, that they by me itunes gift cards as presents. Not gonna argue there.

So, last night the wifey and I decided to get off our undecided asses and went to go out to my local watering hole "Andy's". We planned on getting a bite to eat and have a couple of beers. Well, as soon as we got there the funniest thing happened..... We both got the anti-social bug and because it was soooo busy there and there was no place to sit, we left. Yep, not even 4 min. after we walked into the joint, we left. I haven't done that at that place since the previous owner "loser boy" had the joint and there was a completely different crowd of people that hung out there. I am very good friends with the current owners of the joint now and would never say anything but good things about Andy's now. Rick and Cara are fantastic. So, anyway, here is the best part of the story. The "ANTISOCIALISTS" (that is Kt and myself) drove straight to frickin' McD's and got a 20 piece chicken nugget and a large fry and went down to Baypoint park, parked the truck, and sat there and talked and ate. Then, for the grand finale, we went for an 11 mile drive out of Red Wing, onto a backroad, (mind you there was no alcohol involved with the backroading) and back to home. We were gone for a total of a about 1 1/2 hours. What an exciting night. Even funnier yet, my buddy Tommy was at Andy's and when we left I told him "We're just gonna go get some food somewhere real quick, we'll be right back." Huh. Guess I was wrong.
So, that was our funfilled, exciting, very eventful, sober night.
Thought you might like that.
I wonder what interesting ideas I can come up for Kt and myself today. We do have the whole day to just do nothing. So far we are totally accomplishing the deed of doing nothing.
I guess I do have my itunes at least.everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-80805215586038982742008-02-23T19:37:00.006-06:002008-12-10T09:51:12.693-06:00Come on people it's warming up out there...

Today was a slow Saturday at work. The day just drug on. It's been a bit slow for me the last week. Hopefully with the slight warmup in the weather we'll get more people into the dealership "Come on People, get away from the friggin house and get some fresh air!". My buddy Stew was the highlight for the day. He works for our local radio station and he came down to the dealership and broadcasted live from 8:30am to 10:30am. He did an awesome job plugging the dealership and put me on the radio a few times. I thought I did good job talking about the cars on the showfloor. Of course, he helped by asking the right questions and leading me into the whole conversation.

Now, Kt and I are looking for something to do. It's now 7:45pm and we are both sitting here doing a horseshit job of making up our minds on what we want to do. I know for a fact I don't want to sit home all night. We've done that for the last I don't know how many weekends. It's time to do something. I don't do movies at the theater. I will seriously fall asleep. (can't see paying to fall asleep as something fun) Sorry Kt!

Last night I had the house to myself and this is what I ended up doing:

Yep, that's right, I cooked myself a friggin delicious batch of Chicken and Rigatoni Pasta with a white wine, three cheese creamy sauce. LOVED IT. This is Kt's new favorite meal that I cook and she wasn't here to enjoy it cuz she had a girl's night at her sis's house. HAHHAH!

She ended up eating leftovers for lunch today and texted my cell saying "mmmmmmnnn soooooo delicious.

Here's somewhat of a better pic of my new truck. I wasn't lying when I said it was just like the one on my blog page.

I have better wheels on it now. Probably gonna get some running boards and a few other things to dress it up here soon.

Good night for tonight.
everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-15899683015367637192008-02-20T18:44:00.003-06:002008-02-20T19:00:06.221-06:00Another day of cold...Well, today was colder than yesterday. The temparature at the car lot was -3 degress Farenheit when I got here this morning. It never made above single digits all day but the wind wasn't as big of a factor as they said it would be. Wind chills were expected to be -15 to -30 today. Thank god for the sun. It is now 6:45pm and it is 1 degree above ZERO! I can't wait for the last blast of this cold shit. The boat is starting to call my name.
Speaking of which, I have been getting the itch to get yet another motorcycle. This would make me have to sell the boat. I'm not sure that is sitting with me well quite yet. I know the motorcycle would be way less yearly expense, but the boating is just sooooooo much fun. I'm really at a loss right now as to what to do. I have gone 2 years now without a bike since I was 17. Ever since then I always had a motorcycle. They are quite a bit of fun, but more people can enjoy the boat with you. You can't really invite 3 or 4 other people to ride along with you on your motorcyle if you know what I mean. It's just that the boat is such a friggin' money pit. Any advise or opinions?

As far as the sickness dwelling within me...... I woke up this morning actually breathing out of my nose and not just through my mouth. That was nice. By 2pm I had hit a huge brick wall and wanted to crawl into the back of the truck on the showfloor and just take a nap. (I didn't though)

1 more hour of this boring day and I can go home and plop my ass on the couch. Maybe even straight to bed.

And for my last topic of this post....

Tomorrow night my BIL "G" is bowling as a sub for my team. Pretty damn excited I am. Finally we get to bowl together in a league type setting. It should prove to be a very eventful night.

Good luck to both of us.

See ya!everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-7027775839578510412008-02-19T17:59:00.002-06:002008-02-19T18:13:15.983-06:00Holy freeholy it's been like 3 weeks!!!I'm sorry it's been so long since I've updated. There really hasn't been a whole lot to post about. The remodel is finished, we have had many dinner guests over. Kt has decided on a new favorite dish that I make. Unbelievably it does not have Green Peppers, Red Peppers, and Onions as the main vegetable ingredient. I will have to take some pics of the next time I make it. It really is delicious.

I got a new truck last Thurs. it looks just like the picture on my blog.

I don't have much else to say right now as I am sick with a sinus infection and a cold. My head is so stuffed up I can't think very well and I believe this is the longest it has taken me to type out a post that is actually pretty short.

Damn you winter!!!everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-43421278391991469022008-01-27T14:26:00.000-06:002008-01-27T14:49:43.142-06:00The food is not the cause....Last night I decided to do something different and go to Rochester with a couple of the boys. We wanted to try out this really good burger joint called "Newt's". This decision proved to be a very good one. They have close to "Theee" best burger's in this state for the most part. I like "King's" alot too, but, they don't have the greatest buns. The burgers at Newt's had some really soft and fluffy buns that just didn't hide the delicious flavor of the meat and toppings that were on the burger. T and B, I'm sure you have dined at this fine establishment before, but, if you haven't,,,,,,,,, you gosh darn better get you pittuties down there and do it. Many people had there kids with too. It's alot like going to King's but you have to upstairs of the City Cafe to get to it. Kt and I are gonna try out the City Cafe sometime soon I think. I really want to go down and try the Grouper. I heard it's excellent. By the way, the name of the burger I chose to eat was.......................................... "Dave's Burger" ............................................ here's the caption explaining the burger (Dave, our cook who loves spicy & hot in his food, came up with this one: Our great burger mixed with chopped jalepenos and garlic, grilled, and topped with a sweet & spicy smoked BBQ sauce and Pepper Cheese.
Nummy!!!! Doesn't that sound good?
After dinner and a couple really good Dark Ale's, we decided to go to a bar called "McMurphy's". Decent place, not too small, not too big. Lot's of TV's for your sports viewing pleasure. We hung out there for pretty much the rest of the evening. We played alot of pool and had a good time. Of course I was the one kicking all the ass in the pool games. I think I only lost one game all night. Not that I am a pro or anything like that.
So, on with the reason for the title of today's post. By now I have had quite a few beers' and mind you I started off with 3 large dar Ale's. Throw a shot in there and rush home to meet up with people a whopping half hour before bar close and... poof!, you have yourself waking up with a very nice upset stomach in the A.M. On top of that, the damn stomach aches persist all day long and really have no sign of leaving. Not to mention, I was an idiot and ate my left over stir-fry. (spicy) Wow, what an idiot.
I think that will be enough for today's post.
Until next time!everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-55438077994620589842008-01-24T17:40:00.000-06:002008-01-24T17:47:42.884-06:00Day gone by too quickly....That's right! Today was my day off and it just went by way too quickly. I woke up around 8am, made some breakfast, talked to the remodeler, went donwstairs, and just laid around all day. It was very nice to be able to just lay around. Played a little Madden 08, and just watched different movies from quite a few years ago.
Finally, at about 4pm I decided to run out to work real quick and then up to Abra to get the paint codes figured out for the new entry door I bought for the garage.
Now it's 5:45pm and I have to get myself ready for bowling. Our team needs to have a good night tonight. We are currently 1 game in 1st place with 2 weeks left in the 2nd, 3rd of the season. Please cheer us on. If we win this 3rd we are guaranteed a spot in the Roll-off at the end of the year.
Tootles!everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5412233085306022133.post-70946384602005805372008-01-20T13:38:00.000-06:002008-01-20T14:05:53.530-06:00??????????????I'm just posting for the sake of posting.

VERY HUNG OVER!

VERY DEHYDRATED!

CAN'T DECIDE WHAT TO EAT!

UNBELIEVABLEY TIRED!

Ready to watch some football all hung over.

That's all.

Good day.everyone needs a ride!http://www.blogger.com/profile/07091954853793652660noreply@blogger.com1
